PARIS FASHION WEEK
SPRING 2020 READY TO WEAR
Paris Fashion Week was over in a flash but not before it serenaded us with sweet future envisionings of us frolicking through the streets in tailored suiting, wet-look pastel trenches, shades of taupe and pleated skirts peaking beneath over-sized polo-shirts. Okay, maybe we’re referring more specifically to the Lacoste show, but it left a sweet taste lingering on the tip of our tongue and we’ve been hungry in the search for similar-looking sustainable finds ever since. Other runway looks that got our revs up were Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen’s puffy sleeves and suit jacket cut-outs through the back and dresses teamed with a black waist belt with a feature gold buckle. Stella McCartney’s stripy palazzo pants and baby blue hues brought a lightness and gave Victoria’s Secret a run for their money with their wing-like effect billowing down the runway. All in all warmth is in the air and we can’t wait to strip off the woolen coats and reincarnate these looks.
